Colleen designs and creates one of a kind art jewelry featuring hand-formed, hand-painted, polymer clay beads. Final designs incorporate handmade, oxidized sterling silver components and various glass, wood and semi-precious accent beads. She strives to show the artist’s hand in each piece while letting the wearer express their creative self.
In the studio, she moves between shaping clay, soldering, and painting beads with acrylic paints, inks and enamels. The color palette is Mid-century modern inspired and black and white patterns are prominent.
Her work is sold locally at several galleries and shops and she exhibits at local shows including Clothesline and the Fine Craft Show at Memorial Art Gallery.
